MSU 3-Month Look Ahead – April
Winter weather apparently does not want to give up its grip as cooler weather is setting in. With the expectation of warmer weather coming and the end of the spring semester, the list of projects established for bidding continues to grow. While we would like to have exact dates for all projects that will be bidding in the next 3 months, there are forces outside of our control that change dates as we get closer to issuing a project for bidding. Please use the following list as a guide. Accurate information will be posted on our website at: Construction Look Ahead – Planning Design & Construction. The projects listed below are listed by their expected bid date.
Expansion of Parking Lot 39
Project Description: A parking lot is to be constructed south of Kentwood Hall. The design will include both asphalt and concrete options.

Renovate Computer Labs, Cheek Hall
Project Description: The existing Cheek Hall computer lab on the first floor shall be reconfigured to allow for the construction of a new Computer Sciences computer lab, resulting in two separate computer labs. The entire area currently occupied by the open computer lab will be renovated to provide for the two labs plus support area. This project is to be completed during the summer of 2017.

Computer Lab 150 Asbestos Removal, Cheek Hall
Project Description: The existing computer lab and support areas within Cheek Hall will be completely renovated to create a new computer sciences classroom and support area along with a renovated computer services open computer lab and support areas. The asbestos removal will occur during the renovation of the space. The work will be the removal of all VAT tile and floor covering in the space.
