Pre-Bid Meeting (Non-mandatory): Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.
Bid-Date and Time: Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.
Intended Award Date: Monday, January 16, 2011
Expected Construction Start Date: Monday, January 23, 2012
Intended Construction Completion Date: Tuesday, May 1, 2012
Receipt of Bids: All Bids for the project shall be made upon the form provided by the Owner and/or College Architect. Bids shall be hand delivered to Ozarks Technical Community College, Springfield, Missouri until 2:00 p.m., local time, on Thursday, January 12, 2012, in the OTC-Operations Center (Facilities Office), located at 933 E. Central Street, Springfield, Missouri, enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed and marked ITTC 156A Bay Enclosure. This envelope shall also bear the name of the bidder. Bids shall include all freight, overhead and profit, and any other miscellaneous charges relating to the work. The Owner is a tax exempt entity.
Contract Drawings: Construction Documents are available through the Issuing Office: OTC-Operations Center (Facilities Office) from the College Architect. Documents shall be issued upon a refundable deposit of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) for each set. A $15.00 handling fee will be charged for each set of plans to be mailed. This $15.00 is non-refundable and should be a separate check from the initial deposit for the construction documents.
A full refund will be made for each set of Construction Documents returned in good condition, provided they are returned within 30 calendar days of the bid date.
Examination: Contractors will not be given extra compensation for conditions which can be determined by examining the site, this set of documents, and any other information herein after referenced.

Pre-Bid Meeting (Non-Mandatory): Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Project Site located at Industry & Transportation Technology Center, 1111 East Brower, Diesel Lab 156 in the city of Springfield, Missouri 65802. The Meeting will convene at the north side of the building at the exterior bay to be enclosed. The Owner and College Architect will make a presentation and take questions. All General Bidders and major subcontractors are urged to attend.
