Ozarks Technical Community College-Power Equipment Testing

Sealed bids to provide Power Equipment Testing will be received by Ozarks Technical Community College, Springfield, Missouri until 1:00 p.m., local time, on Thursday, February 2, 2012, in the College Facilities Office, Located at 933 E. Central Avenue, Springfield, Missouri and publicly opened and read.
Mandatory for first time bidders to attend the pre-bid/site meeting to answer questions regarding the bids will be held at the OTC Facilities Office located at 933 E. Central, Springfield, Missouri.
Springfield Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
SERVICES NEEDED
1: Oil tests all primary transformers (visual, liquid, and dissolved gas). There are 5 primary transformers to be tested. Inspect all secondary transformers (8) and any disconnects that supply 208/120.
2: Pull and clean primary disconnect fuses, holders, and coat with high voltage grease as needed. Inspect connections for tightness and wear.
3: Inspect and clean any outside disconnect boxes supplying the buildings.
4: Inspect, clean, and tighten all MDP’s.
5: Inspect, check for connection tightness, vacuum out/blow out, and verify spare spaces in all breaker panels throughout the buildings. Label spares on panel schedule and indicate in data sheet notes (provided) also indicate in the notes any panel screws that need repaired/replaced. (97 panels) Included in this maintenance inspection will be a generator and transfer switch, chiller controls and disconnect, power SAV, and a distribution cabinet with 10 cans (MCC).
6: Infrared testing with pictures on all MDP’s, disconnects, and transformers for our records (prior to spring break). A written document explaining the outcome of the testing will be required. Provide at least 2 copies on compact disk.
7: Make a record of amp readings per phase on all panels.
Disconnecting from City Utilities will need to be scheduled for March 23rd with the 24th being a backup day in case of rain. The College will be on spring break from March 19th through March 24th. Inspections of panels can be done prior to the 26th with coordination through our maintenance department. (No power will be shut off prior to the 26th without authorization.)
Must create and provide a schedule for power off and power on.
