Special Message from Pig Roast Chair Danny Edwards: In my opinion it is a good win/win situation for both parties. The Ozark Empire Fairgrounds has become a year round venue that attracts people from all areas of our state and beyond. These customers stay in hotels, buy gas, eat out and spend money! We in turn as a contractors association have members who build, service and maintain these attractions which in turn helps everyone, I think it’s called an economy? Anyway we are a community, they help us, we help them. As a business owner I make my sponsorship pledge to the Fairgrounds and would recommend others do so also through trading goods and services or through a cash payout. It is good for our community/it is good for me. Last year we made a decision to move the Pig Roast in an effort to revitalize this summer celebration and to help get it back to what it was before.
