Burn the Mortgage Party

If you weren’t here you missed a great party! It was nice to see so many faces both old and new! It was really great to see several former board members in attendance. The party in the parking lot was such a special event.
.
In 1988, Larry Ruckman had a vision that came true last night. He gave the association a $500 check as seed money to buy some property and build a building. In 1998 we completed part of the dream when we built the building. Last year we completed an exterior update and this year we have been able to give the interior a facelift. All of this work was done without adding to our mortgage. Last night we accomplished a major milestone by burning our mortgage! If you haven’t been by the office lately, please stop by I’d love to show you what your Board and our association have done.
What a party! JW DeLong and Dave Robertson manned the grill with some help from Cliff Kennedy to cook the burgers, brats and hotdogs to perfection. The beer was cold and thanks to PacVan, who brought a margarita machine, no one left thirsty. Dr. Richard Gebken brought the MSU tailgate trailer out so we could enjoy some music. The Cornhole Tournament is always a highlight of the evening!  The color commentary by Mark Gambon and Joe Tucker kept everyone laughing! The team of Rick Quint and Dave Foreman won the tournament, but Charlie Cornwall does have some doubt about the results.
Thanks also go to, Rental Supply for bringing 2 light plants, WCA for extra trash containers, Superior Rents for the use of a generator to keep the margaritas cold, JWX Turf for sprucing up our landscaping, Dianna Devore for loaning us a fire pit to burn the mortgage and to Q & Company who helped with all the last minute items that pulled everything together.
Thanks to Everyone!
