The link below is the revised Section 11 of the City of Springfield Technical Specifications.

This section of the Specifications is for Bituminous Base and Pavement. These changes will posted to the website this week and will become effective March 1st, 2018. The link below is the November 2017 Section 11 with changes made noted by colored text.

When compared to the November 2017 Specifications, the changes to the Specifications do not effect the material components of the asphalt or the contractor’s QC testing methods and frequencies. The changes mainly include:  removal of language outlining specific requirements of City QA procedures, minor format and language changes, and typographical errors.
