Due to employee changes beyond our control at this time, the customer counter service in Building Development Services will be closed daily from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This policy will start on September 29, 2014. At this point in time we hope that this will be a temporary issue.
At the request of City Council and some concerned citizens, a resolution is being prepared for City Council for consideration. The resolution will be a request by City Council asking that city staff review and present a possible amendment for consideration, dealing with window fall protection. Once staff has studied and developed a possible amendment for consideration, it will be presented to you for review and comment. NOTE: THE RESOLUTION IS ONLY A REQUEST FOR REVIEW AND CONSIDERATION. IT IS NOT A PROPOSED AMENDMENT.
We have received a copy of the 2015 ICC code series and will be reviewing them for possible amendment to the 2012 codes adopted. WE WILL NOT BE SEEKING ACCEPTANCE OF THE ENTIRE 2015 CODE SERIES. Once any proposed amendments have been developed we will be presenting them for your and review consideration before they are presented to the City Council for consideration.
