  • News

“The D-Word: Drones for Construction, Engineering and Surveying Applications”

Jim Peterson will be the Speaker at this fun opportunity to meet some of the top-notch young people who will be joining our industry soon; and find out some ways you can help support the construction program at MSU.

The luncheon will be held in the main dining room (21st floor) at the Tower Club.  Register and socialize starting at 11:15, lunch will be served at 11:45 and the program will start at noon.  The plated lunch will be $17 for SCA members. CPRIME, a unit of the MSU Department of Technology and Construction Management, will help sponsor the luncheon by underwriting the students’ lunch costs. The student-selected menu will include BBQ Chicken Breast, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans and alternating chocolate and white cake.

Please add this event to your crowded calendars and make time to show your support for and interest in our future employees. You may call 862-1313 or contact sheryl@springfieldcontractors.org or kathy@springfieldcontractors.org to save your seat.

C-PRIME (Center for Project Innovation and Management Education) will also present a seminar after lunch from 2 to 5 pm in the SCA Training Room to further develop and discuss the ideas summarized in the presentation at lunch. The fee of $75 (discounts for multiple employee and early registration are available) covers handouts, refreshments and 3 PDH.
