Generation Core Community Service Project

Generation Next invites all SCA Members to join them on Saturday, June 30th, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for the next community service project with Habitat for Humanity. The group will most likely be working on the siding of one of their current homes under construction..

Landscape volunteers must be at least 14 years old and accompanied by an adult. Any volunteers working on construction must be at least 16 years old. Additional information can be found on the waiver below.

2019 Board Member Nominations

The SCA Board Nominating Committee is now working to finalize the 2019 ballots. If you are interested in being considered, please contact the SCA Office. The Nominating Committee will review names before developing a final ballot.

Members in good standing can also have a petition signed by ten members, also in good standing, to automatically be added to the ballot. Signed petitions expressing interest must be submitted to the office before the next Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, July 18th, as stated in the SCA By-Laws Article VI Section 3 below.

An additional board member will be be selected from the floor at the September General Membership Meeting on Tuesday, September 4th. Please mark your calendar to attend now if you are interested.

Not later than the July Board meeting of each year, any ten (10) members of any division, in good standing and entitled to vote, may present to the Secretary or the President a petition signed by them carrying the name of a candidate or candidates in any division, and any such candidate or candidates shall forthwith be added to the slate of candidates which has been recommended by the nominating committee and to be voted upon in the election.

We are now accepting nominations for the Design Team & Developer of the Year Awards. Projects completed between September 1, 2017 to September 1, 2018 are eligible.
