Generation Next Meeting & Social

Generation Next held their last regular meeting of 2017 on Thursday, October 19 at 417 Taphouse. Thank you to the SCA Members who attended the social hour after Generation Next’s Core Group Meeting!

Generation Next is seeking new Core Group Members for the 2018 year. Although there are no additional Core Group Meetings left in 2017, there is a Pro Talk event in November and a Christmas Social in December. If your company has someone under 40 that is interested in getting involve, please encourage them to attend one of the upcoming events. Construction Career Days

Several schools have contacted SCA for speakers for classes and Career Days. Additional SCA members are needed. If you or someone in your office would like to get involved, please contact Megan at 417-862-1313 or megan@springfieldcontractors.org. Workforce has been a key issue for the construction industry, and coordinating with area schools is one way to recruit future workers to the industry.

Build My Future

Mark your calendars! The second annual Build My Future Construction Showcase & Career Day will be Wednesday, March 28, 2018.
