Changes to Public Works’ Design Guide for Public Improvements to Take Effect Nov. 1, 2017

Changes made to the Design Standards, General Conditions, Technical Specifications and Standard Drawing Details for Public Improvements are now posted online at pwdg.springfieldmo.gov and will apply to projects submitted beginning Nov. 1, 2017.

These technical manuals outline the requirements for Public Improvements constructed int he city limits. The changes in specification have been developed over the last two years with input from the City’s partners in design and contracting community. Some changes are significant and it is highly advised that contractors, developers and others review these documents in detail when bidding or designing work within the city.
